​Resourcing Specialist

£18K + Bonus



Option A, a rapidly expanding recruitment company based in the Scottish Borders, is looking to support its growth by improving both the quality and quantity of the workers it supplies to its customers. The team are searching for an enthusiastic and entrepreneurial individual to take ownership of this project to develop, implement, review, and further improve our recruitment processes for workers. As the role develops and processes are established, the successful candidate will have the option to develop the project further or move into a more customer facing role and take on account management responsibility. .

Your role will include identifying sources of candidates, and developing channels of communication & strategies to attract these candidates. It will also involve designing and implementing an efficient yet effective assessment and registration process, to get these candidates into the position where they are able to be supplied as workers.

This role is absolutely crucial to the future success of the business, and we anticipate its success being one of the key differentiators between Option A and our competitors.

Fast paced and varied, with tasks ranging from researching candidate sources, writing adverts for online promotion, working with traditional print and radio, interviewing and screening candidates, organising overseas recruitment, and even relocation, no two days will ever be the same.

Other parts of your role will involve working closely with our customers to understand their requirements and what they want from our workers, planning seasonal requirements, responding to last minute urgent requests, and problem solving out on the ground.

The role will be predominantly office based, but you shouldn't be surprised to find yourself at an airport meeting workers from overseas, conducting interviews at a major holiday park, or even meeting workers on the back of a moving potato harvester in the middle of the countryside!

​Recruitment Consultant/ Account Executive

£25K + Bonus/Commission

Supplying across all sectors, with no 2 days ever the same, your typical day may include ensuring our large teams of cleaners are delivering great service to our holiday park customers.  Followed by meeting with one of the largest farmers in the Borders to discuss his grain and potato harvest worker requirements before advertising for and interviewing heavy plant operators for a major rail construction project.
